What to Expect During Your Escape Room Visit

Curious about what actually happens when you visit an escape room? Here’s your complete guide to the escape room experience, from the moment you arrive to your triumphant escape (or dramatic defeat!).

Arrival (10-15 Minutes Before)

Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time. You’ll need to check in, sign a simple waiver, and use the restroom (there’s no pausing once you’re in!). This is also a great time to take group photos in our themed lobby.

The Briefing

Your Game Master will explain the rules, give you the backstory for your adventure, and answer any questions. Pay attention – sometimes there are subtle hints in the briefing! They’ll also explain how to ask for hints during the game.

The Game Begins

Once you step into the room, the clock starts. You’ll have 60 minutes to search for clues, solve puzzles, and ultimately find your way out. The puzzles build on each other, so solving one often leads to the next challenge.

During the Game

Your Game Master monitors your progress through cameras and can provide hints when you need them. Don’t be shy about asking for help – a well-timed hint can make the difference between escaping and running out of time!

The Finale

Whether you escape or not, your Game Master will come in to congratulate you and explain any puzzles you didn’t solve. This is a great learning experience and often leads to “aha!” moments about clues you missed.

After the Game

Take photos with our themed props, compare your time to other teams on our leaderboard, and bask in the glory of your adventure. Many groups stick around to discuss their favorite moments and plan their next escape!
